DFX for Windows Media Player 9.204
DFX for Windows Media Player is an audio plugin for Windows Media Player that can enhance the quality of the music. It can make an average PC sound like an expensive stereo system placed perfectly in a designed listening environment.
The plugin has a great visual interface that lets the user adjust its settings: 3 types of processing (music type 1, music type 2, speech), 2 listening environments (speakers or headphones) and 5 settings that can enhance the music quality: Fidelity, Ambience, 3D Surround, Dynamic Boost and Hyperbass.
The plugin also comes with 5 different skins and over 35 presets (the presets can be saved, edited or loaded). The greatest feature of the plugin is that presets can be associated to particular songs.
The trial version of the plugin has some of the features disabled (the headphone listening environment, the 3D surround setting) and the 4 settings that can be adjusted, cannot be tried to their full range.
