Blue Cat's Widening Liny EQ 4.0
Blue Cat's Widening Liny EQ is a 9 bands Mid/Side linear phase equalizer. It is based on Blue Cat's Liny EQ technology, thus it has all its features, but it also implements Blue Cat's widening technology. This allows managing the equalization of Middle / Side parts of the stereo signal separately. The plugin also allows to control where the equalization will be applied in the stereo field.This plugin is great for widening the stereo with precision, without any phase distortion. It has very short latency (under 3 milliseconds), a wide range of gain (+/-40 dB), window opacity management, automatic gain compensation and allows to link channels in multiple modes.
Other features include smooth bypass, smooth update, skinnable interface, no CPU load on idle, real time MIDI control, import/export presets, and comes in both DirectX and VST formats.
The demo version of the plugin allows for only one instance per session and it bypasses the effect regularly for a few seconds.
